Important Upcoming School Dates

Over the next few weeks there are 3 important dates I would like to highlight for you. Ironically, despite my best efforts to encourage your children to come to school, these are all about times when the school is closed or the level of staffing is reduced.

Friday 22 March – NZEI Stop Work Meeting

On Friday 22 March the NZEI will be holding a stop work meeting affecting our school. With the majority of teachers at Long Bay Primary involved we ask that you collect your child at 12:30pm on that day if you can. Supervision will be available for any students who can not be collected. Please register here if you intend your child to remain at school. Buses and Kelly Club will run as normal on this day.

Thursday 28 March – Teacher Only Day

On Thursday 28 March the Oneroa Kahui Ako (7 local schools) are getting together to hold a conference at Long Bay College. Our school will be closed to students on this day, however Kelly Club will be available. Please click here to arrange a booking.

Tuesday 2 April – Easter Tuesday

On Tuesday 2 April school will be closed for the day as it is Easter Tuesday. Kelly Club will also be available on this day. Please click here to arrange a booking.
