Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

What does the PTA do?
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) of Long Bay Primary School is a volunteer group who organise and run fundraising and social events where our community can come together. Their aim is to provide a friendly and open forum where the school community can work together for the benefit of the students of the school.
In this role the PTA supports the Board of Trustees strategic planning and liaises with the teachers and the community. The PTA committee includes both parents and staff representatives. Click here to read the Constitution of the PTA of Long Bay Primary.

How can I be involved?
Members of the school community are warmly invited to come along to the PTA meetings, which are held twice each term in the school staff room.
The committe are friendly and interested in new ideas. Parents can join the committee or offer to be a friend of the PTA and help at events, such as the school discos, sausage sizzles or the annual end of year gala.
Information about the PTA projects and when the next meeting will be held is included in the school newsletter.
